Saturday night from 7-10pm is Meet the Artist Night at Artomatic. I’m working on bacon truffles for the soiree. Caramels and mints for the timid (or morally opposed). Artomatic opened Friday. Fun!
The show exceeded last year’s attendance numbers for opening night. Thanks to all my friends who stopped by. On the chocolate front, we had butter truffles from Glarus of Baltimore and bourbon dark chocolate toffee from J. Chocolatier in DC. J, who delivered the toffee personally to the opening, will be having an opening later this summer, with a storefront in Georgetown – a nice step from being a online-only chocolatier. Congrats J! Did I mention yum!

Here’s what my 8 x 8 exhibit wall looks like before.
The show opens next Friday, May 29th. Come down and have some fun. In addition to nearly 1000 artists (search the artists catalog for your friend’s names) there is more entertainment than you can shake a stick at (unless it’s a really big stick).
